The Book Club has been up and running since 2008 and proved to be an enjoyable and often informative experience for all who participate.

The club meets once each month, usually on the second Tuesday at 7:45 pm in the Queens Head where Bev very kindly grants us exclusive use of the Public Bar. The meetings are relaxed and informal. The books discussed have all been nominated by one of our members and are drawn at random. The person who leads a particular discussion is the one who nominated that book. We have had the opportunity to discuss a wide variety of materials, very often books that many of us would not have chosen to read. This is one of the strengths of the club - to widen our experience of different authors and genres.
